Yes, us. 🙂

I’m Ivy, the voice and face behind Jojoonbookshelf on Bookstagram, and the editor of this blog. And then there’s Jojo, my tabby cat, frequent reading companion, and the not-so-quiet presence behind many bookshelf photos.
Jojo on the Bookshelf is my way of bringing together two things I care deeply about: thoughtful reading and careful work with language. What began as an Instagram space to share book reviews and curated reading lists has grown into a home for both readers and authors.
As a professional translator and editor, I spend my days paying close attention to words and how they move, how they carry meaning, and how they travel between cultures. That same care shapes everything I do here. My reviews are honest and considered. My editing and translation work is precise, respectful, and focused on preserving each author’s unique voice.
For readers, this is a place to discover books worth your time, stories that linger, challenge, comfort, or surprise you. For authors, I offer editing, translation, ARC reviews, and book promotion designed to support your work with professionalism and genuine attention.
If you love stories, you’re in the right place.
If you create them, I’m here to help you shape and share yours.
